#4 “Be good or be good at it”

So much in motion… My personal studio was completed 2 months ago and I’ve fully dedicated myself to the operation. I fired my dumbass manager and am back with the team that taught me glass 12 years ago! They’ve been expanding their business and doing well so they made room for me! Such an incredible opportunity, the pieces that Troy and I have been creating are getting some amazing feedback. Couldn’t be more happy about it and I’m seriously about to take my art public again. Maddie just modeled my new showpiece and this pop star girl Loren Gray wanted the 2nd one. We met in Miami but I’ve known about her from back in the Snapchat days. Honestly a lot of full circles going on right now but I know it’s cause I’m truly committed to my destiny. Which is bringing light to the people through glass like a church window.

Also, I was offered a job as a glass teacher with the squad I just talked about… I accepted! Thanks to the Upper Boss I’m now going to be sponsored in becoming the actual Indiana Jones! Treasure hunting has always been my prerogative from God and I’m about to increase the efforts tenfold… Got such a nice still life from my grandmother the other day and I already cherish it deeply bouta hang it in my new place… then my library is going next to the fireplace… really took my art book collecting serious this summer… very pleased with the results like I even scored a 1916 print of Rodin’s book…

I’m particularly studying Degas right now even though he’s been one of my favorite artists for a while, I’ve been obsessed with his sculpture at RISD to the point where I inquired one of my friends about creating something like it. Serendipitously he’s currently building a new forge so I just need to score mad bronze in the meantime. For the mold, I just pitched a collab to this ceramist… let’s see what comes from these efforts cause I literally said out loud I’m about to be in the studio every single day for the foreseeable future!

Writing this as I commute home across the waves back to Newport…

Be good for be good at it!
Love,

The Ghost
